Phoenix Composites Equipment is the Low Cost, Highest Quality Leader in Spray Systems!

What Makes Us Different From All the Other Equipment Manufacturers?

Over the years, it became apparent that there was a need for spray equipment to be re-examined and modified to serve the needs of today’s fiberglass fabricator.  Rather than just altering existing equipment, Phoenix decided to offer new, simple designs that allowed the fabricator lower cost alternatives to the antiquated designs of the other equipment suppliers.

In 1998, this goal was accomplished when Phoenix’s new product line was introduced to the Industry.  The immediate and enthusiastic response from the fabricators reinforced Phoenix’s belief that simple, inexpensive designs were necessary to insure the future of sprayed fiberglass products.  Since that time, we have continually improved our designs to bring the fabricator the most up to date, reliable systems in the industry.

Testimonials

"Thanks a bunch. Your equipment is working fantastic. The guys love it." -Brad Flater-OBX Boatworks

"I just wanted to give a quick "thank you" to Scott. I am the new owner of an Apollo System. I am new to using a chopper gun and was having trouble getting things lined out. Scott bent over backwards to get me going and transition in to using a chopper gun for my storm shelter business. A great company and great guy! Thanks again!" -Chris, Tornado Guard Storm Shelters

"On behalf of the Auburn University Hovercraft Team (also known as the Hovering Tigers), I would like to thank you for refurbishing our chopper gun.  On Saturday, March 15th, we took first place in the 2014 Hoverbowl Challenge against the University of Alabama.  The Hovering Tigers have worked extremely hard all year to achieve this goal, but our success would not be possible without your help.  Our latest project, constructing a hovercraft from original designs, proved to be quite the challenge.  To begin, we built wooden frames from which we shaped our fiberglass molds.  Naturally, we used the chopper gun that you repaired and refurbished to form the majority of our molds, saving both time and energy.  Unfortunately, due to time limitations we were unable to race our newest craft at the hoverbowl.  However, we look forward to using our newly regurbished chopper gun again in our next project.  Thank you again for your generosity towards our program.  At Auburn University, the hovercraft team benefits its members, assembling from a wide range of disciplines, with valuable experience solving problems and working with a team.  As students, we are incredibly fortunate to have the opportunity to participate in such a unique program.  Mr. and Mrs. McGehee, thank you for helping to give us this opportunity and we hope for your continued support." Mary Palmer Cook-Auburn University

"I love the gun it works well too good I don't have enough molds I get done with my work to fast.  Customer support with Scott is great he does what it takes to help keep me going."  Steve-Exotic Dreams Fiberglass

"At the very first out set we introduce our self as as a leading Pipe Coating contractor handling High Performance coatings like 100% Epoxy, Elastomeric PU, PolyUreas, PolyEster Glass Flake, Vinyl Ester GlassFlake etc,  typically DFT ranging from 1000 microns to 4000 microns and  Distributor of Phoenix Composite equipment,USA, Fuji resins,Japan and Cipy PolyUrethanes,India.  Intially we did extensive research on Composite Equipment and its reliability, Accuracy and its Cost & Downtime. Finally we found Phoenix is much better and meets all our requirements.  * ***** itself is not a Expert in Composite Materials like what you are looking for, because ***** bought out a Pump Manufacturing company called " **********". In general the machines are 1) Expensive, 2) Catalyst Pump LEAKING at Throat, hence poor accuracy of catalyst mixing results to form a uncured composite layers, more rework and rejection, which are expensive and hectic time taking process, 3) Regular ***** Distributor can not Supply *****-Composite Pumps & Parts. Because ***** deputes separate line of sales & distribution, which takes a lot of lead time.  * *** has some level of specialization but has in accuracy in catalyst handling 1) Lead/Lag of catalyst, 2) Complicated parts, 3) Very Expensive in India almost three times when compared with Phoenix pumps.    * Phoenix has many advantages like 1) No Leak Catalyst Pupm, 2) Very nearer to Mother Cylinder and generates very perpendicular pumping action in Catalyst pump, and results Longer Life of catalyst pump, 3) Air Motor retardation duration is very minimum and reciprocates faster on response (it is very important in our Pipe Internal coating plant where we need consistent Pressure and steady paint material flow, 4) High Pressure Internal Mixing of composite materials (***** do not recommend more than 2000 psi) where as we are working at 2800 - 3500 psi, 5) Competitive price 6) Resin Pump packing on your choice ( for Pure resin handling / Highly abrasive fluids like Resin having Glass flakes).  In India we do not push Phoenix pump just for mere sales / competition. Phoenix pump has its own stand and quality. Very big Customers from Aviation sector, GRP pipe manufacturers, Composite molders, Windmill blade manufacturers are our regular buyer, where they need reliability. Phoenix is First choice in Indian Composite Industry." Jegadeesh T.J  ADS Proshield

"We really enjoy working with your products.  The quality and the price of your systems is just great.  My workers love it."   Andreas Mader-Bootswerft Mader GmbH

"Only gun I've bought and used.  I've had it for 9 years and absolutely love it!  Extremely user friendly and easy to maintain." Trevor Sherrich-Calyber Boatworks

"Phoenix Equipment is great, the customer service is outstanding. I used to hot pot when I hand layed a boat, not any more. I never used a wet out system before, and had never been around one to see how they work. Getting in touch with Scott on New Years day, PRICELESS. With Scott and Lauren you can't go wrong." Scott Smith-Scott's Custom Boats

"We collected the system and had no problems at all. We used it and am very very happy with the system and your co operative service. Im sure we ll do other buisnesses with your company.  Thanks so much."  Joswe` Spiteri, Tal-Fenek Boatyard

"We have a Phoenix System and one of their "competitor" systems working side by side.  My Guys love the Phoenix system. It is as good or better than the competitors system and we saved some money when we purchased it, so there is no doubt that when it comes time to purchase a new system, we will be going to Phoenix."  Dick V.-Maine Cat

"The equipment has saved approx 10 kg of gel-coat vis roller & brush with fair bit of this being wastage in buckets etc and 2 hours time saving on over 1st layer layup.  I am very pleased with the system and will keep you updated on final hull release and next use."  Patrick Wheeler

"Scully uses vinyl ester resin to build large parts.  Our Phoenix system has been real reliable over the past year.  We use it as both a gelcoater and chopper and when I need to call, I always get quick customer service."  Rick Graf-Scully Boats

" Great System, if my guys can't tear it up, it must be well made."   Chuck Merriam-Creative Marble
